⁣Things I’ve learned from my husband’s Instagram being hacked.

1. Make sure you have two-factor authentication set up on your Instagram account…especially if you’re a business owner and use Instagram as a means of getting clients. ⁣

2. If you do own a business and get clients through Instagram, what is your backup plan if something like this happens? Are you going to be SOL if you completely lose your account? Something like this can be detrimental to a business if this is your only means of lead generation. ⁣
3. Backup your content. When something like this happens, you don’t want your friends to have to go screenshot things that you created if you don’t have access to it anymore. 🙄

It's so upsetting that this is happening so often. I've seen it happen to 3 people I follow in the last week alone. I don't understand what the gain is other than to hack more people. ⁣ ⁣

But it makes me realize that not having a plan in place for these types of unknowns can create bigger problems for the future of your business. ⁣
If something happened to you (or your social media) today, what would happen to your business? Can it still run efficiently without you at the forefront? ⁣

⁣Hiring a team can be a start to ensuring the safety of your online business.
